IMPEACHMENT

So as most of you faithful club members know the current president of Press Start is getting impeached. Now this brings up a number of important things, most of them will be addressed in this post. Now i know i made some promises and seeing how this is my first post in a while, and will probably be my only for a while, most questions will be answered. SO if you're anxious for that  "OBJECTION" moment then read on

1. The first item I would like to address is the term "Impeachment". From the conversations i heard on Monday i doubt that anyone knows what it means.

Miriam-Webster defines impeachment as: "1 a : to bring an accusation against b : to charge with a crime or misdemeanor; specifically : to charge (a public official) before a competent tribunal with misconduct in office"

So to impeach means to put someone on trial. It doesn't mean to take someone out of office. In fact the only two presidents ever to be impeached finished their terms. Additionally i would have had to participated in a crime, and as far as i know i have a perfectly clean club record.

2. The second point i would like to present is that i was gone for a good reason: i was applying to Woodberry college in the college center. And as for the reason that my dedication to the club has wavered is because there are lots of things i have to do. Just wait till you're all seniors, then we'll see who's running the club. hahahahahahaha. I bet it'll be like Dalton or something. If you think things are bad now just wait till next year.

3. Here's a copy of the constitution, like you all wanted. Anyone is welcome to take a copy. However i can only supply a scanned copy because i tried to copy and paste it but blogger doesn't support Word. Use it in any way you like, it wont work against me because I WROTE it. ahahahahahahahahaha

A scanned version:

And finally there is one thing i would like to say to you guys, you probably need to read the constitution to get it, and words cannot describe it so i can only say it like this

  1. Note, I have all of the freetime in the world (post homework and school/otaku study.) and still can get on most days.
I find that good leaders get their ideas from the public, and relay them as equals, for in most of the executive council, there is no mass representative for the non-exec. members of Press Start.
I can go on, but I need to finish reading the last page and a half of what we call a "constitution". There wasn't even a notary or even signatures of the agreeing persons of such document! It's just a list of rules, like the Ten Commandments, most of which we weren't able to see until now!!!

  5. A constitution that nobody signed? Oh my lol

Sadly, it all comes to popular choice now.

Maybe you should add an amendment referring to maintaining consistency in the club instead and have every member sign it.

I'll be at the meeting during Friday to talk about this. I'll try to do what I can to help.

It's a gaming/Anime club, yet we don't have any of that. WTF
